The importance of the first 72 hours of training a new hire is absolutely vital to ensure a chance for the canvasser to succeed. You must have an organized, strategic and purposeful training model in the first week, regardless if canvassing is new to the company and you have no one to show the new canvassers a working example in the field. If you struggle to get new hire canvassers to produce qualified leads quickly, then you may need to look at your new hire training system. Whether you’re using my 5-Step system or your own, you can’t deny the reliability and performance of canvass leads.
